Summer Concerts: Placebo, then Marilyn Manson

Earlier this week I went to see Placebo at the Winter Palace in Studenski Grad, here in Sofia. I found a couple photos from the show on flickr, and decided to use this one for the post. Everyone I went with had a great time at the show. The Winter Palace is a fabulous venue in my opinion, and its easy to get close to the stage and rock out, or even hang back and sit down if you like. Challenging acoustics, but the engineers did a fabulous job, and I didn’t have any complaints.
Our next show will be Marylin Manson (gasp) on July 4th. Definitely should be an experience worth sharing.
As for this weekend, I’m off tonight taking the night bus to Sozopol for a couple days camping on the beach! It’s been nearly 40 degrees (100 degrees F) all week so I can’t wait do jump into the sea! Hope everyone has a fun or at least relaxing weekend.
