Almost a week without a steady fix
Monday, August 6th, 2007 at 1:46 pmGeez, our internet at home was down is down and has been was down for almost an entire week because of this huge clamoring storm but it looks like its finally back up for a whileand is back up after several false starts. I’ve been sneaking down to the Radisson on weekdays to check my mail and try to read some blogs…. it’s been tough. Now, I just need to get this leak in the ceiling fixed thats dripping on my pillow….

If your internet is via cable TV provider, service is weather dependent. I would recommend changing to BTC. The Bulgarian telecom have a reliable service with reasonable monthly rates and use existing underground infrastructure for both signals, practically making service immune to whims of weather.

We’re on a LAN from the nieghborhood provider. I’ve been happy with that service with a few exceptions. More on that later. It is screaming fast when it works.
